Cittadellarte-Fondazione
Pistoletto, in collaboration with the Tourist Bureau of the city
of Biella, the Regional Tourist Bureau, the Province of Alessandria,
the Province of Biella, the Province of Novara, the Province of
Vercelli, with the contribution of the Piedmont Region, and in collaboration
with the Museum of Cinema Arts of Turin presents the First
International Festival of VideoTales for the Promotion of the Territory,
which will be held in Biella from 11 to 13 September, 2008.
The three-day event is curated by Sara Conforti, Giuseppe Gariazzo,
Grazia Paganelli, Gigi Piana & Cittadellarte and offers a rich
program of meetings, films, and seminars for film-makers, with the
contribution of international authors and producers.

FEEDBACK
/ workshop by Francesco Fei
The workshop includes an analysis of the
selected videos. After meeting the authors - who will briefly
illustrate their work - the narrative structure, expressive
elements, and aspects of production of their videos will be
examined. Francesco Fei will contribute, from an artistic
and professional standpoint, to a series of considerations
on film-direction and production, aimed at conveying interesting
and valuable information useful to the authors’ production.

The seminar, completely free, is open to the selected filmmakers
who have presented their work for the selection of the First
Festival of Territory-Promotion Video-stories and to other
20 filmmakers who wish to further their knowledge on the subject.

with your personal data and a brief curriculum in which your
experience in the video-making field is outlined. .

The sales-profits of the DVD sold
at the Bookshop of Cittadellarte will be donated to the Associazione
Mosaico of Biella. |
